<p>The Radio 3DR telemetry system is designed as an open source Xbee replacement radio set, offering lower price, longer range and superior performance than Xbee radios.</p><p><br></p><p>Open source firmware. The interface to the module is through the standard 5V tolerant USB TTL / FTDI serial.</p><p><br></p><p>The SiK firmware includes a bootloader that allows radio firmware updates on the serial interface and radio firmware with configurable parameters. Firmware updates and configuration are fully supported in the APM mission planner.
